Conference overview

ACM New York Celebration of Women in Computing (ACM NYCWiC) is an annual conference that promotes the academic, professional, and social growth of technical women in the State of New York and beyond. ACM NYCWiC is specially targeted at undergraduate and graduate students in technological fields. For many of them, it is their first conference experience.

The conference is composed of:

  • Technical Student Talks;

  • Technical Workshops;

  • Technical and General Interest Panels;

  • Keynote Talks;

  • Student Poster Session;

  • Career & Graduate School Fair;

  • Student Internship/Employment Seeking Tools Support;

  • Informal Roundtable Discussions.

Annual participation: 180+ attendees, 100+ students, 15+ schools, 10+ companies.

Sponsorship is a way for institutions to show their commitment to the promotion of inclusion and diversity in the technology sector. It allows student registrations to be offered at discounted rates, making the conference accessible to a wider audience. To become a sponsor, fill out the form below.

Industry sponsorship 

Industry Sponsorship is open to all businesses, government organizations, and non-profits interested in supporting ACM NYCWiC’s mission and helping students attend the conference.

Notes:

  • All industry sponsors may participate in career & grad school fair on the afternoon of Friday, April 12. This is a great opportunity to connect with students looking for job and internship opportunities.

  • At the bronze level and above, industry sponsors will have the conference registration fee waived for two representatives.

Academic sponsorship 

Academic Sponsorship is open to schools and educational institutions interested in supporting ACM NYCWiC’s mission and encouraging their students and faculty to attend.

Notes:

  • All academic sponsors may send students & faculty with the conference registration fee waived. See table below for the numbers at each sponsorship level.

  • All academic sponsors may participate in career & grad school fair on the afternoon of Friday, April 12. This is a great opportunity to connect with undergraduate students considering graduate school.

  • Those only interested in the career fair may participate for $100.
